Ranveer Singh-led 'Baiju Bawra' NOT happening, Sanjay Leela Bhansali switches to SRK and Salman Khan with new ideas - Exclusive

A lot has been happening at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office. The latest whisper coming from the corridors out there says that Bhansali has dropped the idea of going ahead with the remake of the 1952 Meena Kumari classic 'Baiju Bawra' with Ranveer Singh. At least for now.

The whisper also says that Bhansali is now planning to go ahead with Shah Rukh Khan on a new project with a story that he had in mind. Or, he shall make 'Inshallah' with Salman Khan.

It is being said that the remake of 'Baiju Bawra' needed a lot of finance which was not viable for any producer or studio to back it at this point of time when Bollywood is in a state of transition and crisis both. Bhansali had worked a lot on this project and it was not an easy decision to take. But we guess, how long could he wait? If SRK and Salman are ready to join hands with him soon, it is only pragmatic that the celebrated filmmaker who has an astonishing way of storytelling and a great vision for detailing, moves ahead with different ideas.
