Siddharth starrer 'Chiththa' gets an OTT release date

'Chiththa' featuring Siddharth in the lead role was released last September, and the film clashed with multiple films at the box office. The positive reviews for the film from the audience made it have a strong hold in theatres. Now, here is the OTT release date of 'Chiththa'.

'Chiththa' was said to be released on OTT on November 17 and a poster announcing the film's digital release went viral. But the film's absence on the popular OTT platform caused chaos on social media as netizens questioned the makers. Whereas, the fact is the viral poster was fan-made, and the exact OTT release date of 'Chiththa' is on November 23. 'Chiththa' will be streaming in multiple languages on a popular platform from November 23, and the emotional drama is anticipated to earn wider attention after the digital release.

Directed by SU Arun Kumar, 'Chiththa' features Siddharth and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles, and the film had a child artist Sahasra Shree playing a crucial role. The emotional family drama is about a young girl's fondness for her uncle (her Father's younger brother), and the film is packed with twists and turns. Dhibu Ninan Thomas and Santhosh Narayanan scored the two songs in the film, while the background score was composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. Several filmmakers praised the film during its release, and it added power to the film.

'Chiththa' also faced controversy as actor Siddharth was sent out in between the film's press meet in Bangalore by protestors, who stood against sharing Kaveri water with Tamil Nadu.
