Farzi 2 OTT Release Date & Platform: The series ‘Farzi’, consisting of eight episodes, made its debut on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2023. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, ‘Farzi’ garnered acclaim from viewers and became the most popular Indian streaming series. By the end of February 2023, Kapoor officially announced that the show would be returning for a second season. The web series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora, and tells the story of a disillusioned artist who decides to make counterfeit money.

It is confirmed that the second season of ‘Farzi’ is in the making. Talking about the release date of ‘Farzi’, Shahid Kapoor had said, “ART banana mein time lagta hai kachra jaldi ban jata hai,” according to GQ.

“So of course, the second season of Farzi will happen. I mean, the response was amazing. Also, the way the story ended, it was open-ended so there is an opportunity for a lot more to happen. It was not like a culmination. So Farzi 2 will happen, and if anything else I like, I will, but as of now, I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT because I had two releases this year, so I’m going to do some stuff for theatres now. But Farzi 2 will definitely happen," Shahid Kapoor said at the Pinkvilla Masterclass event.

Raashii Khanna said during a social media interaction, “I had a word with Raj sir, who is our director. He told me that the shooting for Farzi 2 will begin by the start of next year. So probably, Farzi 2 might arrive by the end of 2025.”
