ICICI Bank Reduces Benefits On Amazon Pay Credit Card

Credit Card is a huge boon for consumers, especially for those who love to splurge. From exciting rewards, cashback and credit points, swiping the plastic card comes with several benefits. One of the credit cards is the Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card which offers great cashback and waiver on fuel charges. As per the recent updates, this card will have a big devaluation.

For Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card users, a 1 per cent reward point was given on making rent payments. However, from June 18 onwards, no reward points will be available on rent payments through this card.

Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card is issued by ICICI Bank in association with Amazon and Visa. Amazon Prime members get extra reward points on shopping. This lifetime free credit card has no joining or annual fee for the card. On all purchases, one could avail 5 per cent cashback on Amazon (for Prime Members only). Even if one is not an Amazon Prime member, they could avail a 3 per cent cashback on their spending on Amazon India. Using this card on Amazon Pay, one can get up to 2 per cent cashback on payments.

Apart from this, one can get 1 per cent cashback on other expenses such as shopping, dining, insurance payments, travel and others. It also offers a waiver of 1 per cent on fuel surcharge payments each time you refuel. What makes this card extra special is that there is no limit or expiration date on the rewards earned. Meanwhile, no reward points are available on EMI transactions and purchases of gold.

These reward points are credited to Amazon Pay wallet within 3 days of credit card bill generation. Interestingly, one reward point is equal to one rupee.

Here are the steps to apply for Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card-

At first, this card was only being offered to selected customers through invitation. ICICI customers who have been using Amazon.in the mobile app got the invitation as a push notification through email or app.

Upon meeting the eligibility criteria, the customer can apply for the card. They will receive a ready-to-use digital card, soon after which a physical card will be dispatched through courier.

An individual can visit the ICICI bank website and check out the Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Bank page under the Product section. Here, one needs to click on the Apply Now button. The Amazon.in page will open where one can check if they are eligible for the card. One can also open the Amazon.in app and go to the Amazon Pay option under the main menu to check eligibility criteria.
